Tips to Be Aware From Today's Polluted Environment

The planet is suffering, and all of us are affected by it. Whether we are indoor or outdoor, the polluted environment gets to all of us.

Instead of decreasing the pollution levels, a greater number of cities are surrounded by it. This can make living in a city or town very difficult.

Hence, if you don’t want to fall prey to toxic air, smog, dust, etc. There are a few tips that you need to know that can make you aware and be safe from the polluted environment.

1. Refrain from morning walks:

Exercise is very important for our body, and we should do it daily. However, you shouldn’t do it while breathing toxic air.

Hence, you should keep an eye while morning walks spot signs such as unusual smog, lack of fresh air, and more.

If notice such signs, we suggest you shift your morning walks and other activities in the evening when the smog settles down.

2. Use Mobile Apps:

There might be certain areas near your place of living where pollution is certainly higher than in most places. Such areas are called hotspots, and you can identify them by using various mobile Apps.

These apps can tell you the pollution levels of the areas and even notify them then you are entering a hotspot. After which you can either turn back or take preventive actions to prevent any further damage.

3. Listen to news and radio:

Another way to be aware of the pollutions around you is to listen to your local news and radio channels. As their content is for the locals and weather report is an important part of it.

You can either listen to the local news in the morning or listen to the radio during your drive to the office in the morning. In this way, you will be aware of the pollution level in your area.

Now that you are aware of the pollution levels in your cities, you need to take action to be safe from it.

4. Air purifier:

Normally, we feel our house is safe from pollution, but that isn’t the case. You need air purifiers in your house.

Either you can go for natural air purifier plants such as Aloe Vera, Ivy, and Spider Plant or electrical air purifiers. Both of which can minimize air pollution indoor.

5. Ventilation:

Many people don’t know that indoor pollution is worse than outdoor pollution.

For this reason, ventilation is very important in your house. You need to have a chimney in your kitchen and an exhaust in your bathroom.

This will ensure the air inside your house is recirculated. This will help you avoid any indoor pollution.

6. No fires in your house:

Anything that burns in your house will cause pollution. Hence, it is in your best interest, not to light any fire in your house. So, no more candles and try to use as much gas as you can.

7. Restrict outdoor activities:

Now that you are aware that pollution is unhealthy outside, you should restrict going out.

Especially for kids, elderly, and pregnant women as these groups of people are more prone to health diseases.

If you ever want to go out, either wear masks or keep the windows down when you travel in public or private transport.

8. Take steam daily:

No matter how much care you take, you will still be exposed to pollution. In this case, you need to take those polluted air out of you.

Taking steam daily with a few drops of eucalyptus oil every day in the evening is a must. This will relax your air-passage and remove any particulate substance from your body.

9. Increase ant-oxidant level:

The food that we eat plays a major role in our immune system. If we want to stay healthy from pollution, we need to maintain our body’s anti-oxidant and Vitamin C levels.

You can do so by eating green vegetables, fresh fruits such as Orange, Pineapple, Strawberry, and much. If you eat them regularly, your body will be equipped to fight the pollutant particles.
